Singapore Malay Chambers of Commerce & Industry (SMCCI), with the support from Spring Singapore, spearheaded the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) in October 2006. EDC@SMCCI is the fourth EDC to be set up by Spring.

The primary role of the Enterprise Development Centre is to assist Singapore enterprises to develop essential business competencies and adopt best practices throughout their operations so that they can be competitive and successful enterprises both domestically and in the global market.

It offers the right business information, resources, advice, financial assistance and connections to help companies bring world-class products/solutions to the market.

With the support of SPRING Singapore, the EDC serves as a holistic advisory centre for aspiring entrepreneurs and current small and medium business owners where they can gain immediate access to a wide range of expert business consultancy products and services along with information on government assistance schemes/grants/programs.
